Numbers we can stand behind.
The challenge.
Italian Good serve some of the best Neapolitan pizza in Surrey and have the awards and the queue to prove it. The problem was margin. Almost every online order came through third-party apps that took a heavy cut, reservations ran through a phone nobody could answer on a Friday night, and their Google profile was an afterthought despite a wall of five-star reviews.
The food was already award-winning. We just stopped the apps renting them their own customers.”
What we did.
The strategy was simple: own the relationship the apps were renting back to them. We built a home for direct orders and bookings that was faster and nicer than any aggregator, then made sure the pizzeria showed up first when a hungry local searched.
- 01
A website built to convert hunger
A warm, editorial site with live opening hours, a menu that photographs the food properly, and a checkout designed to be quicker than opening a delivery app.
- 02
Direct ordering and reservations
Commission-free online ordering and table booking wired into the site, with automated confirmations and follow-ups that turn a first order into a regular.
- 03
Local SEO that owns the town
We targeted "pizza new haw", "best pizza near me" and "neapolitan pizza surrey", and rebuilt the Google Business Profile with a proper posting and photo cadence.
- 04
A repeatable content system
A simple content playbook the team runs themselves: food photography, kitchen reels and review responses that keep the profile alive and climbing.
“We are finally getting the orders directly instead of handing a chunk to the apps every time. The site is quicker than the apps, the phone stopped ringing off the hook for bookings, and new faces find us every week.”
Where it landed.
Direct orders more than doubled, reservations moved online, and the margin that used to disappear into app commissions now stays in the kitchen.
